Delivery is a chain of evidence, not a launch moment.

A build that passes locally is different from a production change that works and can be safely reversed.

NOTE / 01

Preserve the previous state

A backup receives a time, location and verifiable contents before the change. Saying backups are enabled does not prove the latest version is covered.

NOTE / 02

Check the published output

Response status, headers, key routes, forms and static assets are checked at the public address after release.

NOTE / 03

Separate release from rollback

A rollback plan names which files, database and configuration return, in what order, and how the result is confirmed.

NOTE / 04

Hand over ownership

Access, domain, repository, data and operating notes need named owners. A handoff without them leaves a hidden dependency.
